For our team outing, I bought a bit of fun stuff. It was a very difficult choice between portable printers.

And time to MTB stuff. Replaced Presto core with Schwalbe Clik. First impression, looks good, works perfectly, hard to bend.

RØDE Wireless Micro is my device of the year. I use it every day for all calls or screen recordings, love it.

Got a Govee Net Light. Don’t like this blinking animation; need to create a static pumpkin image for Halloween.👻 🎃

However, it looks quite good from a bit of a distance.

I have been using long-time wet wipes from Carl Zeiss for cleaning lenses, glasses, and screens.

So, I decided to try to use Whoosh!. I believe you don’t care about it, but just in case, if you want to know :)

After 4 days of release, ChatGPT Apps SDK, I have done ours. So, now waiting for when submission will be open.

It might be a hype train; however, we see that a lot of our customers come from… ChatGPT. Even so, I noticed changes in how people find, for instance, a cleaning company for a home - using ChatGPT.

Holy moly, I was so productive last week on trains! I’ve been writing a few very useful tools to simplify my daily routine!

Today in the evening I want to try something new and see how it will affect my creativity. I want to try writing some code while sitting on a bench in front of the canal

Maybe 6 weeks is too long for some product/company. However, I believe that instead of shipping small parts every 2 weeks sprint, ship the finished project after 6 weeks.

In my experience, if the team is professional, you don't need stand-up, daily meetings, call them whatever you want.

Also, I absolutely hate story points.

I'm not a fan of Basecamp, but "shape up" looks like a good approach. At least part of it.

Spent a couple of evenings working on Go Analyzer. I completely love approach when languages give you ability to work with their source code, providing AST.

I remember when MS released Roslyn compiler for C# I had the same feeling.

The structure is very unclear, I understood it better from third-party posts/videos than from official documentation.

Switched from Hugo to @eleventy . But I noticed that the 11ty documentation is very confusing and emphasizes the wrong things in my opinion.

Switched from iTerm after years. Now, I’m trying to live with Ghostty on my work laptop and use Terminal.app, with wezterm occasionally, on my personal machines.

Why the change? On my work machine, I need better compatibility with TTY.

I’m currently working on a video about my experience with ergonomic keyboards. In the video, I’ll talk about why I switched, the learning curve with my Kinesis Advantage 360 Pro, and how it has impacted my daily workflow as a software engineer. My goal is to share the pros, cons, and practical insights for anyone considering an ergonomic keyboard for improved comfort and efficiency.

I found a temporary solution to prevent my Mac from hibernating without changing the screen saver settings.

Using Flipper as a mouse jiggler

This is probably the best improvement I've made this year. I work with videos from time to time and want to do it faster. Speed Editor is my device of the year.
